In winter you can reach two different ski areas in only about 20 minutes: Mount Plose and Gitschberg-Jochtal. Other famous ski areas like Kronplatz, Obereggen or Val Gardena are located nearby.

The Mount “Plose” ski & snowboard area offers a wonderful 360° panoramic view of the peaks of the South Tyrolean Dolomites. Most of the ski area is located above 2,000 m. The highest mountain station is at 2,505 m and the first valley station at 1,067 m. The lifts are open from December to April:
